I’ve always loved competition and I’ve always loved video games so for the longest time being part of an esports program was something I always aimed towards. Video games have always been my favorite way of connecting with people and because of esports at Saint Rose I have met so many people who share my interests.

Making real, noticeable progress in the games I play always keeps me coming back for more. Practicing with my teammates in a group effort to improve not only builds a sense of growth, but also of good, solid friendship with everyone in the program.

One of my favorite things about the ESports that I compete in is the feeling of progression and accomplishment from game to game as I feel myself improving and playing better. Being able to help my teammates on the Ultimate team by managing the matches and stream allows them to focus on their game, and having the outside perspective of years of experience in Melee and traditional fighting games allows me to give them pointers that they may not have considered otherwise.
